1, strength is 2 times that of ordinary wire. The tensile strength of ordinary steel wire is 1240Mpa-1410Mpa, while the carbon fiber mixed curing mandrel of ACCC wire is twice that of the former.

2, high conductivity, energy saving 6%. Because the carbon fiber wire does not have the magnetic loss and thermal effect caused by the steel wire material, and under the same load conditions, it has a lower operating temperature and can reduce the transmission loss by about 6%.

3, low sag, reduce the sag more than 2 times. Compared with ACSR conductors, carbon fiber conductors have a significantly lower sag characteristics. Under high temperature conditions, arc sags less than 1/2 of ACSR, which can effectively reduce the insulated space corridor of overhead lines and improve the safety of conductor operation. 4, light weight 10-20%. Carbon fiber wires have a specific gravity of about 1/4 of that of steel. Under the same outer diameter, the cross-sectional area of ​​carbon fiber is 1.29 times that of conventional ACSR wires. The weight per unit length of the carbon fiber wire is 10-20% lighter than the conventional ACSR wire, which shows the advantages of light weight carbon fiber wire.

5, corrosion resistance, life is 2 times higher than the ordinary wire. The carbon fiber composite material is compatible with the environment, and at the same time avoids the problem of galvanic corrosion between the aluminum wire and the galvanized steel wire when the conductor is energized, effectively delays the aging of the wire, and has a service life that is twice that of the ordinary wire.

6, the same capacity line investment costs lower than the ordinary wire. Due to the multiple capacity operation of the carbon fiber wire, and its high tensile strength, low slackness, and light weight, the span between the rod and the tower can be increased and the height can be reduced. The cost of the same capacity circuit is lower than that of the ordinary wire.

7, save half the consumption of aluminum. According to the calculation of the annual consumption of 2 million tons of aluminum in the power circuit, nearly 1 million tons of aluminum can be saved.
